Sennheiser MKH 50 P48 Microphone

Sennheiser's MKH 50 P48 is a top-notch, professional condenser microphone made especially for sound reinforcement and spot-capturing in recording applications. Excellent attenuation at the lateral capsule sections is provided by the MKH 50, allowing for a focussed pick-up without off-axis noise. Regardless of the source, its wide frequency response and sensitivity produce crystal-clear audio fidelity. Putting the microphone close to high transients also features a pre-attenuation switch and a low-frequency roll-off switch to reduce rumble and noise. The MKH 50 is more than capable of recording instruments or vocals. However, it does require 48V phantom power.
